“AmBear Shellea’s “Rock n Roll Promises”—book 1 in the “Rock n Roll Paraphantasy” series—is an intense and sensual paranormal treat.  Shellea creates an almost reality world where vampires are different from the old legends, weres are their mortal enemies, and anything goes if you’re willing (& able) to bend the rules.  Shellea’s characters are clever, unique, and interesting.  Her heroine, Anna, is a new type of vampire who is almost human.  She is witty, brazen, and enticing.  Her hero, Jaxson, is his own special supernatural entity.  He is noble, rugged, and virile.  She also adds in a cast of loveable supporting characters.  Her storyline includes numerous plot twists as well as music to help tell the story.  Although “Rock n Roll Promises” is a highly sensual read, the eroticism doesn’t take away from the emotional depth Shellea creates.  “Rock n Roll Promises” is a unique take on the vampire romance genre and a promising start to an excellent new series.” Copyright 2013 by Amber L.
