Review: Leto - Skinwalkers - Book 2

Bliler, Susan A.                      “Skinwalkers”

Book 2:           Leto

“Susan A. Bliler’s “Leto” –Book 2 of the “Skinwalkers” series—is an engaging continuation of the erotic shifter tale.  Bliler’s hero, Leto, is the very definition of an emotionally-damaged alpha male displaying hostile, aggressive, combative, possessive, and domineering tendencies towards his fated female or angel.  Her heroine, Shy, is a more subtle character because of her history of abuse, which Bliler realistically portrays in her character.  Bliler addresses dark topics in “Leto” such as abuse and torture; however, the focus remains on the way the main characters can overcome anything to achieve their own piece of happily ever after.  Bliler used less of a hard-core military theme to weave “Leto” than she did the story of “Conn”, but the underlying “bad boy soldier” feel is still present in the story to keep readers from feeling disappointed.  “Leto” is erotic, emotional, and intense…another homerun by Ms. Bliler.” Copyright 2013 by Amber L.
